 Hello, ready to review my spookiest reads of the year? (Don't worry no spoilers!) I am reviewing five books: Hooky vol.1 by Miriam Bonastre Tur, Hooky vol.2 by Miriam Bonastre Tur, Vampirates book 1 by Justin Somper, Wandmaker by Ed Masessa, and City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab. 1. Hooky, volume one by Miriam Bonastre Tur This book was really, really good. It's about these twin witches named Dani and Dorian. Dani has something wrong with her magic and Dorian is really good at magic. They end up in this small town where Master Pendragon teaches them magic and they become friends with an unlikely group and face lots of challenges like witch hating villagers, darkness trying to rule, witch battles and messed up magic. I would give Hooky vol. 1 and 2 five stars! It was amazing! 2. Hooky, volume 2 by Miriam Bonastre Tur In this book something has happened, and they have to go into hiding but it didn't last long before they go back into adventuring!  Hello viewers! I'm book reviewing the Wild Born by Brandon Mull! I have mixed feelings about this book because it was very slow and boring at times. I was 40 pages from finishing the book and things just started happening. I didn't like two of the four main characters. However, I enjoyed the spirit animals and enjoyed that they lived in different parts of the world. They had to come together to save the world from this great evil taking over the land and they have to locate talismans to help them!   The spirit animals are Essix, Briggan, Jhi and Uraza and they were great. They had cool powers that they transferred to their owners.  The main characters being Rollan, Conor, Abeke and Meilin come from different backgrounds. But they put their differences aside and come together in the end. Meilin and Conor are my favorites. Meilin was awesome because she kicked butt and has an interesting secret! I did find some of the kids whiney though....

Today I am going to write some book reviews on fantasy books that I have been absolutely loving lately.  The Thirteen Witches by Jodi Lynn Anderson This book series is about a girl  named Rosie Oaks,  who is trying to discover why her mother doesn't love her likes other mothers love their children. It is a book that is magical, thrilling, and full of friendship. This book has witches and ghosts and would be perfect for the Halloween season.  Wilderlore by Amanda Foody The Wilderlore series follows Barclay Thorne, a mushroom farmer, who acquires strange powers and is forced from his town. He goes on the adventure of a lifetime through an enchanted forest to be accepted by his town. He also has an animal companion named Root. Root reminded me of my own animal companion. Today I am reviewing the fourth Serafina book by Robert Beatty! Serafina and the seven stars (book 4)   This is a magical mystery with strange happenings, bizarre creatures, danger all around, and a lot of excitement. There is a murderer in the Biltmore Estate. It was a little creepy and just as good as the previous books. This book has one of the best mysteries! Serafina and Braeden are well written characters. I guarantee  you will want to read this book in one sitting! If you like the Serafina series try: Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend! Also try books two and three! Syd

 Today, I am going to review the first two books in the Serafina series by Robert Beatty! these books are fantasy and follow a twelve year old girl named Serafina that lives in Biltmore in Asheville North Carolina 1899! Serafina and the Black Cloak (book 1) Is a thrilling mysterious adventure filled with danger, nerve racking cunningness and unexpected friendships and much more! Serafina and the Twisted Staff (book 2) Has a lot of adventure, unexpected twists, strange happenings and is going to have you at the edge of your seat! I give these books five stars!   I love these books! I would tell you more but I don't want to give Any spoilers! I  would highly recommend them! I am crazy about these books!
