Killdeer Birds

 Hello everyone, today, I am sharing one of my favorite birds and I encourage you to keep an eye out for them. Killdeer birds   I am getting the information on killdeers birds from the American Bird Conservation   these birds stick to being on the ground, they nest in pastures, lawns, fields, roof tops, parking lots and they also love gravel. These birds are not endangered because their population is one million, but I thought I should share with you anyway. Threats According to the American Bird Conservation, these birds are threatened by: pesticides, mowing equipment, cars, etc. When feeling threatened, these birds put on a broken wing display to lure predator away from the nest. Diet According to the American Bird Conservation, The Killdeer feeds on invertebrates such as earthworms, beetles, grasshoppers, and snails, sometimes adding seeds and small vertebrates to its diet.
