POPULATION AND PROTECTION

Unfortunately, these majestic cats are listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. According to worldwildlife.org there are only about 4,000-6,500 left in the wild. It is very sad to see one of natures beauty's going extinct, but there are ways to help. There are ways to fund and adopt an animal to make sure they continue to live and thrive! One place to visit would be The World Wildlife Fund.

HABITAT AND LOCATION

According to the World Wildlife Fund, these cats live on rocky terrain mostly found in the mountains of the Himalayas, and across Europe and Asia. Most of their population is found in China.

Fun fact: Every Snow Leopard has it's own unique spots!
